Biography & Legal Background

Omer Khayyam is a practicing Canadian barrister and solicitor. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan, and went on to complete his LL.B. / J.D. law degree at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law.

He completed his formal legal articles at a high-intensity litigation firm in downtown Toronto, Ontario, before returning home to Saskatchewan to practice in criminal defense, family law, and immigration litigation. This diverse courtroom experience gives Omni Law a distinct tactical advantage in immigration appeals, procedural fairness arguments, and Federal Court judicial reviews.
